Join the User Engagement Cohort

I still have a lot to learn about user engagement, so the fee-for-service model that I use with most of my other services doesn't feel right for this topic.

Instead, I'm putting together a cohort of open source projects who are all interested in improving their user engagement. We'll learn about different approaches together and try them out in our communities. The cohort structure will allow us to share what we're learning with each other, support each other, and brainstorm fixes to problems together.

I also hope to bring in user engagement experts to talk with the cohort and share their expertise.

Your project might be a good fit for the cohort if:

  • you have at least a few hundred users (even if you don't know who they are)
  • you're not in a rush to connect to your users (this cohort will take time)
  • you have multiple people in your community who'd like to participate in the cohort

Projects that have primarily developer-users and projects that have primarily non-developer users are both welcome.

Please apply if you're interested, regardless of whether you fit the above criteria. You can do so by filling out this form:

If you have any questions, or if you're someone with expertise in user engagement or related topics (user research, user support, UX design, etc), or if you're interested in financially supporting this effort, please reach out directly.
